Bobcat Football Welcomes Coach Hatler

NPBobcatsBobcat Football welcomes Coach Brian Hatler as the new Head Varsity Football Coach. Coach Hatler joins the Bobcat family after being with the Arvada West Wildcats in Arvada, CO for the last 13 years.

With twenty-three years of varsity football coaching experience, including experience as an Defensive Coordinator, Special Teams Coordinator, and as a position coach at all positions, Coach Hatler most recently served as the Offensive Coordinator for the  Arvada West Wildcats who made 10 playoff appearances including four trips to the semifinals in his 13 years with the team.

Coach Hatler returns to the North Port area, having lived here previously serving as the Defensive Coordinator for the Venice High School State Championship Football Team in 2000-2001. He coached three years at Venice before re-locating to Colorado. Coach Hatler joins the Bobcat Family in time for preparation and coaching of this year’s Spring Football season and Spring Football game against the Southeast Seminoles on May 22 at The Preserve.

Coach Hatler is a licensed teacher in Special Education and Physical Education, and will be teaching at North Port High School. Coach Hatler, his wife (Eva), and daughter (Tayla) will be relocating back to the North Port area, where they had lived seven years previously, and Tayla will be attending North Port High School.

Coach Hatler will become the Bobcats’ sixth head coach and fourth coach in as many years. Please welcome him to the Bobcat Family.
